production numbers

hoi, I just bought a grey 1997 chimaera. It looks and drives perfect. I was wondering how much chimaeras were produced during the years ???
How many of them came to Europe overseas ???
How much were for the american market???

The problem here is that TVR did not keep records of production numbers, the best guess is that about 6000 chims were built between 1993 and 2003. But what types they were and where they went remains a mistory. Also there was the TVR venture in Malaysia, how meny they built know one knows!

..indeed, and as for the US market: Zero. No recent US crash test certification for the Marque I'm afraid.

Is there a kind of TVR or Chimaera register ??
Has anyone recentely visited the factory??? Is there a possibility to do so ???
