Clive Y piece fitted.

Someone I know with a 500 had the Y piece with the cat put back on the car.
It had been sleeved as well and it was just too noisy. May be good for track days but in every day use it was too much. It is still sleeved and is still louder than standard but acceptable, but others will disagree.
Decat OR sleeved exhaust maybe but I wouldn't do both personally. When revved it sounds awesome admittedly but at idle it sounds too much like a tractor to me.

Car sounds fantastic and engine bay looks great.
Id like to ask where you got the air pipe work from that runs from your plenium (Elbow)down to the actual Air Filer.(Straight Section).
The Stainless steel wrap / pipe, looks great. Is it black black air pipe wrapped with Stainless ?
Maybe you can let me know where you sourced it from.

Err, no sir. You can't have been on a track day. Mine, same decatting and Y piece, but standard exhaust (not sleeved), just scrapes under the noise limit at the noisiest tracks (105dB) and means I cannot go to the quieter ones. I have actually kept my stock Y piece in case I want to quieten the car for the quieter tracks.QBee said:
