What are your New Year's TVResolutions?

Hi folks,

Sat here in deep dark Somerset waiting for a customer to open and I've been pondering again.

What are your, if any, TVR related New Year's resolutions. I have but two:

1. Get the sticking throttle sorted, revised ACT linkage on order.
2. Get the car back to the mappers for a final fiddle and use the thing as much as possible

Drive, drive, drive.......

Including organising runs around the east of England and doing more track days with my TVR friends

Getting a new dashboard. Mine's done the walnut veneer cracking thing Not sure whether to replace the walnut with new walnut or go for something like carbon fibre. I've got a biscuit dashboard top, with a tan interior everywhere else.

Also I'd like some new wheels. But not sure where to begin with them...

After a horrible year resulting in four months sat in Power's workshops and a bill only slightly less than America's national debt our ambition is just drive, drive, drive and then drive some more. Got to do 1000 running in miles soonest (shame) then back for final mapping and to have the running-in restrictions taken off. Then a tour of Scotland, one of the south east including Goodwood Festival, and lots more besides.

Actually drive it more, already have another trip to Italy planned to see Rossi race at Mugello in Moto GP end of May

1. Get out riggers and chassis refurbished
2. Do more track days and TVR get togethers and run outs.

Sort thermocouples and amplifiers to get stable and accurate readings on air temps pre and post chargecooler.
Install 044 fuel pump
Install 42lb injectors
Dial in 10psi :hehe

If you don't mind me asking mark what happened to your engine?

Finally upgrade from the 4.0l to FI or 5.0l etc. I've been thinking and talking about it for too long

Long story but the weaknesses of a very poor build were found, but not caused, by the fitment of a supercharger. Engine now rebuilt by different people (Dom and Co) and Kate nearly fit for purpose once again :-)

Do more TDs and sprints.

Persuade more of you guys to take part and open the taps like they were designed for!

Fit and upholster a pair of carbon fibre seats that I have.

No more upgrades just a little paint work and tidying.

A couple of cosmetics and then enjoy my first summer of driving my first TVR. Looking forward to going to a few meets and showing the car off.

Get electric PS fitted then drive the thing.
(Non PS is murder at slow speeds so have decided on balance it needs sorting.)
Opinions will be divided, I know, but it's my car, etc, etc.
