Service convenient for S E London

[CROUCHY]

It's been a while but perhaps I need to get my 20 year old serviced...
I'm in Greenwich, (near Blackwall Tunnel and A2), so I can go South East or straight north quite easily. Any thoughts? It would be nice to be able to get back into London easily via public transport. I'm thinking Castle or Taylor but are there any other options close by?

Taylor TVR is highly recommended. I will be taking mine there from now on.

Is Sausage Meet in the park? I am walking distance. I have spotted the odd TVR rumbling up the main avenue but not recently.

Been meeting there for a few months but the 'Season' has got in the way a bit recently.

Alternative location of the Hot Rod Cafe in Northolt is a small drive away. Thread in the Wedge forum about it.

I have used Taylor TVR who are very good but as I live in Sidcup have used EPF Autoservices who are just off of Sidcup High Street and found them to be very helpful and knownageble of TVR's and will be booking my Chim in for a service with them soon

Castle (Hilton and Moss) have looked after my 500 for 10 years + now, and I have been happy with their services.

I had a few hassles with H&M when I had work done with them. After a bit of hassle they rectified the issues and did a good job (and did a couple of extra bits for me which was good). If only they had taken a bit more time in the first place, it would have saved a lot of time off work sorting it out/phone calls etc and left a more positive experience for me. Perhaps I was just being a bit protective of my car, but they do have mixed reviews here.

TBH - no place is perfect. I've dealt (or know people who have) dealt with virtually all the TVR places and could cite you
bad and good stories for all of them. I always grade places on how the deal with problems and the customer service
that they give.

Yes, it would be nice if every place was perfect, but i doubt any place is.

Just my opinion and the approach I've used with the Sprint articles covering all the TVR places being reviewed.

Taylor TVR are excellent and have looked after my S2 for the last few years. Book well ahead though!

Have also used EPF Autoservices a number of times for MOTs (including the TVR) and they seemed fine - I believe our very own jagracer runs it.

Haha,thanks for the compliment but no I don't run it, It's my uncle's place and I just do some MOTs to help out when they are busy, I did your TVR last year.

A few of us are meeting on Saturday. Not sure they'll be many TVRs though as mine are awaiting work, Mr V has yet to get their T350 and the Gredge is still in the repair shop, finally, Poppy doesn't come out in the rain.
