Alternator Wiring and Engine Grounds

Embarrassing question but I am just reconnecting my alternator after replacing the engine loom for my Megasquirt, but can anyone help with what wires go where?
The megasquirt loom has a brown wire which says 'alternator light - small nut on back of alternator'. Does this mean the middle connection where the other small cable used to be or the spade connector on the far left which i can't remember removing anything from?
Also does the large brown cable go from the far right nut and down to the 100A fuse?
Last question is does this engine ground go on this stud. I assume it does but i am not sure why we would have disconnected it when removing the old loom? I assume the old loom had an extra ground to that point that the new loom does not use.
I guess this is the problem with having two people stripping the engine and only one putting it back
