Powerflex bushes

Hi, Has anyone used the black powerflex bushes?

I am considering using on a track/sprint car but was wondering if there was any real advantage over their standard range?

Any comments?

Rear of mine all done on black PF - fine so far, good solid feel and also holding up ok after some abuse. Whether better than new traditional ones, well who knows but certainly easier to install and change if more expensive.

I bought a whole bag of them off Fleabay severslvyears ago and use them to replace my regular failing front near side one on track days. They are fine as poly bushes go, but I would advocate sticking with stock rubber unless u have already converted.

pulled the old rubber ones on the back and put in black on the rears.
no squeeks at all and fun to drive. will do all the bushes in the front
later that year too.

I've fitted standard Superflex, they seem firm enough!

With so little rubber or polyurethane in these bushes I suspect it would be difficult if not near impossible to "feel" a difference especially once to add in all the other things that can effect the ride quality, stiffer springs, harder shocks, tyres and pressures etc. ?

My power flex also squeeks, had them removed and standard ones fitted due to wear in the bushes , nothing wrong with standard ones

I ran my 4.6 with Powerflex for about 6 years, 30K miles, absolutely no problems.

Current Superflex fine but only recently fitted.

I've been told to only use the supplied grease if possible. Copperslip makes them squeak aledgedly!
