Who made this speedo?

I finally got my speedo with its (no doubt flat battery) odometer out (thanks EPF Sidcup).

The speedo goes back to zero every time I turn the engine off.

Sadly but unsurprisingly, the spare speedo I got for £50 looks lovely but has completely different connectors. So I need to get my old speedo refurbished with the mileage reset.

Can anyone tell me who manufactured this old speedo and which instrument refurbisher might have the quickest turn-around time?

Another view of my old speedo. I also remember someone commenting that it is possible to have the battery external to the case for ease of replacement. How would I get that done? Thanks
