Turbo charging my Pre Serp 400SC - Opinions Please

Having read the TVRCC artical on an owner with a 4.6 Serp Turbo installation, I thought that sounds interesting, as I really can't find any other car that looks and has the other touring abilities of the chim, buy it needs more HP in my opinion.
I have done some googling and there seem to be TWO candidates for this in the market. Power performance and the Guy who did the Mag feature for the TVRCC ..... can't remember his name at the moment.
Has any body on here got one of these conversions and can offer any pointers or advice and what they are like to live with.

Rob mars, if you are interested in the lowdown on Eanns kit you'd do well to look up Macdeb on here. My pal (Tusc4chim or later changed to Turbochim on here) also had an Eann Whalley kit in his Chimaera and he was very very pleased with it. The service from Eann was outstanding; he appears to be a top fella.
I spoke to Eann late last year about turboing my chim and if I remember rightly I wouldn't have much change from 5k, £2250 seems more sensible and as I am booked in to se joolz at kit and classic for a new cam larger afm and re map at £1450 I am wondering should I re-direct my funds? my 450 is running 253 bhp at the minute so not 100% the cam is that worn. should I go or the basic turbo kit instead?

After speaking to Macdeb who knows what he wants 
he could not speak highly enough of Eann and the fitted Turbo kit even after the honey moon period was over 
or you can have a super charger 
which I like to think of as capped broadband bandwidth and a Turbo as unlimited BW

If you are going for SC Power (the most popular + reliable) - you need a special kit for making it fit to the Pre-Serp, check-out http://tvrengineer.co.uk/tvr-upgrades/super-charge...- he is also my Dad I have done some googling and there seem to be TWO candidates for this in the market. - and for reference my 400 produces 370BHP, and nearly 400lbs - and still rev's beautifully like a normally aspirated. And I have now done 10+ track days, 4 trips to Santa Pod, and nothing has gone wrong with it, still sweet as a nut. I am aware of all the costs and it is more like 7-8K when you have done it properly with HD clutch, brakes, new shafts etc and the VAT man's bit! I don't have the time to tinker myself anymore and I scratched the serious modification itch way back in the early 90's on my MK2 Escort RS2000 which had 200hp @ the flywheel on an 8v with 48DCOSP's with every other mod you could think of and all home built. My other option is buying an Alpina B5 or B6, with 500hp & 500+ lb ft torque but you start at 20k for one of these, so turboing the Chim is cheap by comparison, even if I have to pay for labour!NickOrangeTVR said:

Interesting too, I didn't think you could SC a Pre serp, do you have a ball park cost for a turn key conversion?
