Blanking Otter Switch in Swirl Pot & Rad

Hi guys,
So I'm swapping out the dizzy and 14cux for an MS2 - I think I would prefer to use the fan output from that based on coolant temperature of the engine to the otter switch in the swirl pot.
Additionally, I've just bought an Ali radiator, which also comes with a hole for an otter switch.
Does anyone happen to know what size or where I can get something appropriate to blank this off? I tried the brass filler cap from the top of the swirl pot, but that won't go all the way into the rad. I'd rather not obstruct the water way more than is necessary having just splashed out (get it...) on hoses and rad etc... plus I want something that won't corrode ideally!

Why not just leave the sensor in there, disconnected. My car has a radiator with a hole for the switch. It's just got a spare switch in there! One day I was going to extend the wires on the old swirl pot sensor and connect it to the radiator, as supposedly it's a better position for the switch.
Maybe fit an old otter switch if you have one?
Or take your current otter switch or rad to a radiator place and ask for a blanking plug to suit.
Alternatively, give a radiator place a call and they may be able to tell you what it's likely to be over the phone - probably the same size as on a Land/Range Rover rad.

Point taken, however I don't have a second switch for the rad as the one it has replaced doesn't have the switch there, and the one in the swirl pot looks to have been weeping a little and is pretty tired.
I'm loath to buy a second switch for £15 or whatever and just have it there looking untidy if there is a nicer way

I’m sure someone will have the thread size and will be able to supply a bung for it. Perhaps try taking the switch to someone who can correctly measure and gauge the thread and supply a blanking plug.
