Washer Hose Scuttle Connector

Does anybody know what size (external)the plastic hose connector that goes through the scuttle is for the Screen wash , I snapped my driver side one last summer whilst tightening up the wiper arm which had come loose. I need to sort a replacement before the MOT, I want to replace with a metal one, and I am hoping I can pry out the remaining connector with the hose still attached that is on the inside of the car.
