Interior windscreen trim?

I've successfully gutted the interior but wonder if anybody has had success in removing the leather trim around the windscreen without damaging it.

Mine is coming away at the top of the screen, and looks difficult to take off or glue back on due to its position.

Would be interested if anyone has managed to glue it back or take it off then reattach it.
