Early door lock barrels

Hey All
Thought I might actually start doing something on the car again as she hasn't moved for months.

Does anyone know what the early door lock barrels are from? The ones in the rear wing.
Or has anyone used a company to repair locks in the past that could be recommended?

The drivers side door lock hasn't ever worked, the key gets stuck and takes ages of fiddling to free it up.
Locks work fine on remote so I'm guessing the barrel is knackered.

I thought i'd ether swap out both door locks and just use a separate key for ignition, or get the faulty one fixed?

They are Vauxhall Tigra Mk1 or Calibra boot locks.

Good opportunity to replace the locks with the solid ally buttons from the later models. Very easy to change.

I actually find the key holes on mine very handy, it gives me a number of different options on how I want to lock the car depending on where it is.

i've already fitted remote operated solenoids so the doors can open on the key fob, but i too like the idea of having the keys just in case

I had an issue last year with the central locking relay, the aftermarket alarm fob did nothing, neither did the door lock central locking feature, but having the key holes I could lock each door individually and carry on using the car until a slot became available to fix the central locking.
And my aftermarket alarm can be a bit of a pain if using it to lock the doors at car shows/meets as it can be a little over sensative to people lingering around the car or reaching in, which is a good thing sometimes but at meets you kind of expect this, so have the choice to just lock the car with the key and set the standard TVR alarm/central locking.
