can I use a universal wing mirror glass to get through mot?

Noo just broke my glass, fell out and smashed! MOT Tomorrow, apparently they come off a citroen cx as i have a 93 model but cant seem to get one for love of god! Apparently motor pares do an imitation glass which you cut out and stick in, will this get me through an mot?

I thought you only need 2 of the 3 mirrors to pass the MOT
1 wing and a rear view will do won't it?

For vehicles registered after Aug 1978, you need 2 out of the 3 mirrors, one of which MUST be on the driver's door or wing.

For those before Aug 1978, 1 out of 3 is sufficient!

You can even bodge a shaving mirror on their so long as it's not cracked and looking back, no kidding.

Thanks guys! Only thing im worrying about now is the emissions as the pre cats have been lobbed out, were going to use a timing light on it and then i just pray my maf didnt get blown out (only the gauze) -- the car is running lean, smoke hurts your eyes, i dont know if this is because timing as well as modifications such as bigger trumpets, new induction system and camshaft...without ecu change i hope emissions will be okay!
