I have a precast concrete garage (as nice as precast come) next to my house.

I decided to make a utility room between the two.

So I hade a wall built bridging them and going over the top of the up and over door and a pillar on the far side.

I came to open the door and it wouldn't. The pillars were to close together !

(not by much , but enough !)

This pair of doors is 8ft x 8ft, a foot wider than standard garage doors.

He did say that normally he would show his builders crack but in this weather he wasn't taking any chances;)
