New Roof

Hello all.
I have a silver Chim with the standard black roof. The roof is getting a little worn and the plastic window stitching will shortly give...

Quite fancy the dark red roofs which I think are standard on the many Rosso coloured Chims. Can anyone recommend a place where they can supply and fit a new hood, including the lift out panel that sits in the boot? I am based in London but am happy to travel.

Anyone have any idea as to costs. If it is going to be less than £1500 then I think I can stomach it...

Got mine done for approx £750 including VAT. In a nice green colour to match the BRG body (see my profile for a pic).

Where in Surrey are you? If your near the west side of things, Racing Green in Farnborough did mine. Dropped it off on the Saturday, picked it up the following Friday.

I agree Adam. The red roof on a Silver Chim looks very nice. I have the red roof but no the silver car - although that may change soon, want respray to a derivative of silver. Should you have the roof done I'd be very gratful to see a piccie. Cheers KTG

I had a silver Chimaera with a dark blur roof, fitted by Peninsula a few years back for £575, looked pretty sharp.
