GEMS coilpacks - HT leads with no extenders?

Hi guys,

Those of you running GEMS coilpacks behind the plenum...

I bought Range Rover HT leads but they seem to be designed to be used with the plug extenders... I'd like to ditch these...

Does anyone have a set of decent leads they'd recommend? Looking for a solid fit on the plugs and sensible lengths essentially, and can take the under-bonnet temps.

There's been several threads on this if you do a search. I believe several people have used a sort of thermal 'sock' over the end of the HT leads.

You are removing 5k ohms of resistance from each path without the extenders but this shouldn't have that much effect since the leads are 10k ohms plus each depending on their length.

I used them on my 4.6 with socks but have extenders on current car for no reason St all!
