Turbo 500

Took the plunge and decided to contact Eann to talk about his install on the Chim. Also spoke to Mac on many occasions to get his views and experience of Eann's kit. I must say that Eann was easy to deal with and very patient with me as I am not technically minded.
So loaded the car on a trailer and took it up to RVT in Middlewich, not round the corner from Portsmouth. Dropped off the car and left it with Eann and Ian and waited week to meet Eann at Baily Motor Sport in Telford for the mapping session. At this session there was a problem with the wiring and the starter motor decided to pack in. So Eann took it back to RVT and I returned home. A new starter was fitted and was ready to go, unfortunately Dale didn't have a spare slot till the following week. Anyhow picked the car up last weekend and to say the least it is quick. I expected it to be fast but it is unbelievably fast so much so I haven't hit full throttle yet.
So a big thanks to Eann Whalley, Ian at RVT who did more work on the car than was expected and to Mac for listening to my numpty questions and frustrations.

Awesome. Is it installed on a standard 500? Interested to know more about it and some info about cost etc.

Nice ,are you concerned about cR ,cam and the 500 crank . The only thing wich is stopping me is the CR and cam .

As far as i know its the standard crank, a new TVR standard cam, and the CR is untouched. Probably in the 9's anyway as most werent as high as TVR quoted. So its all good for 10lb of boost. Excellent results speak for themselves.

On the strip I can only hope that all that power is wasted in wheelspin while my lowly power keeps me in control
