Polishing your rocket !

Hi chaps, last year I spent some time cleaning up the engine bay.
I decided to polish the manifolds as they were off the car,,,

Just before laying the car up for winter is Sprayed a little Wd40 onto them then warmed the engine.

Being a bit weird I then wrapped the engine in survival blankets,, the real McCoy as it were,,,,

So to the present day, as the suns been shining on Friday I pulled the blankets off to reveal this freaking beauty,,,

Well I'll be blowed,,,, I was expecting some rust,,, at least,,,,

I feel vindicated in doing the polishing now,,

When your running the car regularly it stays pretty good anyway,,

Hey this is just bks, I just wanted to show off,,, haha

We have such cool cars it's outrageous.

Well, I'm upto my neck in decorating a property Colin,, bored out my brains with it...

I'm just so surprised the exhaust has held up so well!
Well chuffed so I am.

The cars been hidden under covers and it's the first time I've looked in months,, sort of forgot how much I did to it !
