Steering rack arm length

Hello all.
I'm going to need to change one of the steering arms (track rods or anything else you wish to call them) because as usual in my cars life someone has bodged a repair on it and stuffed in a couple of threads meaning adjustment is impossible.
Race tech offer two differing arm lengths, powers offer only one, I know I can go and measure it but can anyone help with the more regular length? It's a 97 with power steering.

Hard to say without removing a gaiter.

Thanks for the replies, I'm reluctant to change the rack as it's working perfectly, I did have a quick rough measure before I put it back in the garage and it measured up about the same size as philpots, but I guess I'll have to do it properly and take a few bits off and measure.

Hi Philpott, in the middle of fitting an impreza rack to my chimaera, but would like to compare with an original, when you say serviceable, is it usable as is, if so what would you like for it?
