MOT Failure - Handbrake

Not too serious as only failed on the HB.
The garage has done other TVRs and they are also an honest place. They said it was barely reading anything at all. I can just about get the nominal 3 clicks if I brace my feet against the dash and pull with both hands (having eaten my can of spinach beforehand).
Looking through some previous threads it looks as if it just needs to be adjusted so that the cable is slackened of a touch to get more travel ?

Yep - I've heard that slackening the adjustment allows it to work better because the longer pull gives more leverage. This is of course contrary to what might be expected by the average mechanic which is probabaly why there are so many TVRs out there with ineffectivr handbrakes. Rich...
