Window Guide Glue?

Hi guys,

I have taken advantage of the dry drive to strip my drivers door down to locate the source of some rattles and see if I can stop the window from 'clunking' on bumps and door closures.

The rattling was easy enough to locate - After removing all 4 nuts - I found a further 2 X 10mm nuts and a big washer down in the door (somebody has been here before!)

The window clunk seems to come down to the fact that the window guide had slipped down the metal channel, so the top 10cm or so was glass on metal.

I have removed the glass and the guide strip - but was wondering what the best glue would be to stop it from slipping in the future... superglue, I imagine, would work - but would it become too brittle ?

I'd go for a "flexible glue" , few suggestions here

Massive difference - no window clicking at all now
