Headlights - Again...

Headlights. It's the only part of the Chimaera shape I'm unsure of.

In every other respect, I prefer the shape of the Chim to the Griff. It's weird because I love the headlights (which I think are the same) on the Cerbera.

I don't like the small Speed 6 conversions on either the Chim or Cerbera and I can take or leave the Lupos. The only lights I've seen that I really like are the Mk3‘s (not the conversions with the black 'eyeliner') but my car looks original so I'm loath to fiddle but the thought is still there.

I know this could create lots of different viewpoints but I'd be keen to hear your views on standard headlights and conversions. I'm only interested in the aesthetics not the function of the lights as I do so little night driving in the Chim.

MK3 headlights for me all the way and once I save some pennies that's what I'll be doing.
The flat 7" headlights with the faired in look is so much nicer and retains an air of originality.

HID bulbs and correct wiring fitted by Adrian and his team at Central TVR.

Car looks exactly the same but I can now see at night

Appreciate the Input but that's exactly what I'm not looking for. I do so little night driving the lighting performance isn't important but it's the original look I'm not totally enamoured with.

One of the best visual mods I did to mine, Central TVR did the work and at the same time added HID lights to it, from the outside you would never know, turn on the lights and I can now see

I was exactly the same as you, I prefer the looks of the Chimaera over the Griff but wasn't sure about the lights, now I have the perfect package

Yep Bob. That's the black eyeliner I'm not too keen on.

I'm being picky I know...

I see it as an enhancement and in keeping with the original TVR look, TVR chose to make this change on the last of the line Mk3's
