Does your interior heater/air flow ever run cool?

Mine is always a little warm even on its coolest setting?

Yes.

Check the plastic valve in the footwell is fully shutting. Most don't.

Mine seems to have two settings - hot and f hot. Fine in the winter but not so good in warmer weather if you need the roof up because it's raining - which seems to be most of the time

The HCV in the footwell has failed, it's a modified VW Golf part. Cheap as chips to replace.
