MIL light

Afternoon all.
Can someone tell me, when you turn the ignition on, does the mil light light up for a second or not? I've got a feeling it does but mine doesn't. It's a '97 450.

I am not sure TVR wired them up !

Ha, ok then. I seem to recall the Cerbera does but I couldn't remember if the Chim did, thanks chaps.

I altered the wiring as the above suggests....now get a flash for the bulb check but nothing else.

My 1998 400 does, when pressing the fob, the fuel pump primes and the MIL light goes out.

Definitely the MIL light?

Pretty sure my immobiliser LED behaves as you describe.

If I remember correctly the MIL Light function has to be enabled in the 14CUX code otherwise it will not work even though correctly wired, see pages 31, 32 in this thread:
