Is there a permanent live under the bonnet?

So the car was parked up in the quite narrow garage with the not properly closed passenger door close to the wall and now the battery is flat.
Rather than try to connect a charger directly to the battery, I was wondering if there was a permanent live under the bonnet.
It's either that or access the battery from the driver side.

There is at the alternator.

You can also use the cigarette lighter socket as it is permanently live.

Away from the car at present will look at alternator and lighter

Same narrow garage situation. Wire into the boot from the battery on the last car to connect the charger but easiest is pull the car out, connect up charger and push back in!

I ran a feed from the battery terminals to the boot and put in a 12V socket (with a spring lid).

Had to pull the carpet up to put the cable in.

Be careful with the fag lighter socket. There is a connector block in the door and they can rot.

Will investigate when I get home again. Too late to be running new connection as car stuck in garage, but a job for the summer. Cannot just pull the car out as the drive slopes away and the car will end up in the garden across the road....
