Windscreen Rubber Seal - How To Attach

The rubber seal along the top edge of my windscreen has come loose - i.e. seal between glass and body.

Any recommendations on the best way of re-fixing this would be much appreciated.

I have only ever fitted a couple of TRV screens but unless I am mistaken they shouldn't have a rubber trim. They're back filled with urethane. If you have a trim it's had a screen before and is there either to hide a scratch or because the fitter was too lazy/incompetent to back fill it properly.

Where abouts are you? Glassman would probably be the best to rectify the fitting problem.

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry, me not explaining very well. The bonding of the screen to the body is all fine. It's the rubber trim that fits over the header rail that is used to make the seal with the targa roof when fitted. It's the lip of this seal that covers the edge of the glass...

Sikaflex 292 is the stuff you need as per my reply on the TVRCC forum.
