Pressing bushes

How many tonnes 'press' do you need to press out and press in new suspension bushes? Will 6 tonnes do it, or 12?

I would think 6t should be enough, I did it in a vice for most of them

6 tonne = plenty

That's plenty, the press I use is 40 but the dial never shows more than 1. As soon as it got to near 1 the bush would move and drop the pressure.

Had one show 6.5 t but not for long
Left it for 2 mins and it had moved
If 6t doesn't move it wave some heat at it
