Come to York, the friendliest drag strip

I know the facilities arent the greatest and the in road takes some time to navigate around the potholes but the guys at York do the best they can with very limited resource.
Once you are in the pits you will realize the benefits of the set up. The RWYB cars run from a seperate pit and queuing area to the race classes. Therefore you are free to roam and watch the racing without the need to be constantly by your car missing all the action.
Most RWYB attendees will get at least 6 or 7 runs in a day. Be there from 9am and stay until 5:30 or later and you could get a dozen or more runs in with ease.
The next meeting on 24th/25th is combined with the VW owners club and 'Volksfest' will be filling the field next to the pits. Hundreds of VWs in atttendance (most not running on track). There will be stalls, a beer tent and good live entertainment. This is one of my favourite weekends at York and it would be great to see a few TVRs come along to RWYB or maybe even support me racing and pushing for that mid 10.
I will be there from Saturday 23rd camping for the duration. Please come say hi.
To add... dont listen to those that say York is no good for traction. Ive had all my best times recorded at York. The start line is always glued and there are plenty fast cars that prove otherwise.

If its flat i can manage 62 easy enough. It slows at the first sign of a hill though. There is a particularly big hill on the M62 where i slowed to a painfull 37 in 3rd. I wouldnt call it boring, its hard work!
Must add its not all motorway and i did stop for a KFC

too many wheels, too PC, very little overtaking.I remember back some time when a guest commentator form F1 [not Murray, he loved bikes] joined the commentators in MotoGP for a race and as the race progressed he said, 'well for me there is far too much unnecessary overtaking going on'
WTF!!! You can sit at the side of a motorway and see more excitement than F1
