I have come to the conclusion..

That 360bhp is more than enough for a road going Chim... After a winter of driving a bit gingerly, and three months of no driving, I got the old girl MOT'd yesterday (courtesy of Mat Smith). Drove home (about 50mins from Mat's) at a brisk but sensible pace... This morning, I went out for a short hoon (had to get fresh milk from the next village), and for the first time in probably 6 months I used WOT.. in second... It scared the crap out of me... It felt like the Starship Enterprise going from impulse power to warp speed....

Maybe it's just me getting older...

Throttle response and spin up is awesome, clearly leave the FI boys for dead up to 60 or 70

Completely agree and I only have 330 bhp and 360lb of torque. I popped out for a drive at the weekend and it is a bit of a handful when you start pushing on the throttle!

That is crazy power ! it seems to come in very different to NI engines ..

My conclusions exactly as you know.

377/460 can be a handful on the road but quite sedate strangely on track........

Chilli must have been driving it in his oil rigger's safety boots.....three pounds of lead in each sole....

Try a nice pair of plimsoles (trainers are for fashion conshus yoofs).

Plimsoles? what are Plimsoles? (other than on a ship) I seem to recall my Father talking fondly about something called Plimsoles when I was very young
