Hi, is this fluid ok for power steering on a 2000 chim?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mobil-ATF-220-Premium-Au...

The hand book recommends Mobil ATF220 or Dextron III
I can only find this at ATF220, but is Dextron II and says for pre 94 carsconfused

What are you guys all using?

Thanks
Phil

Hi, my brother in law has given me some genuine Honda PAS fluid. Is this ok or should I use ATF as per previous comments ?

Only if it's Dexron III, it's not worth the risk of using wrong grade fluid considering the cost of new parts

Dont use Honda PAS fluid it is different and not spec'ed for this system though may work fine, but IIRC from my Honda days its yellow in colour and its a multigrade like 5/30 or similar just use ATF/DEXRON not worth the hassle

Hi,

I'm a bit lost with these fluids specifications?
I filled the pas with spirax atf ax s2 and now i just need to top the level bit cant find any of this one anymore...i have some castrol transmax dex3 left should i fill it up with it??

Both fluid look very similar but in my comprehension there are two different things (even if you can use them in same applications).

But this gave me a real doubt...are they only different brand marketing?

https://www.google.ch/url?sa=t&source=web&...

So, thrusting this link, the spirax is a dex2 and the castrol a dex3? Dex 2 and 3 are mixable so i can do it right? Are they really miscable?

Thanks a lot!!!

Shell Spirax S2 ATF AX information PDF -- "Suitable for performance in applications requiring a Dexron IID type fluid".
