TVR paint codes and matching

Hey all.
I need to spray some wing mirrors and light cowls (maybe) but just wanted to see what peoples experiences have been with matching TVR paint, especially silver?
Reason being is I've got an old barge 330Ci and this is 'Titan Silver' but that paint code can actually be about 5 different shades and it's a nightmare to try and match up. So i've left the rusted wings on it for now.
I didn't know if anyone had any experience good/bad with something like this in the past? I'm guessing it's just a stock colour from another manufacturer they've used?3
