Its a special driver cooling thingy. Controllable by the knob under the dash next to the boot opener...

And why can't you stop the cool air coming through the right hand vent?

Fan is off but air still flowing.

You're lucky...they discontinued the extra fan for human cooling!

You can, just close the vent using the left hand side roller. Might need to wiggle it a bit.

On a long run my feet are freaking freezing,ain`t there a vent to put hot air onto your feet.

I fink some of the cars had a fresh air vent plumbed into the footwell (I would guess this is technically known as a hole in the bodywork). The vent has flaps across so it can be closed. I think the one in the passenger footwell is plumbed into the heated air.

The four vents in the front of the dash are all supposed to produce hot air, but certainly those nearest to the doors on my car don't do much. The joints in the ducting that runs to them needs to be sealed up again.

The vent to the drivers right also only gives out cold air.


Its freezing my granbys off because it don`t shut properly.

On the driver's side there is a vent by your right hand - this closes. It is only fed by an outside temp feed. Some cars had a second fan (switch under dash by this vent) which pumped air through this vent and a vent on the outside of the driver's footwell - you should be able to close this vent too.

There is a vent on the inside of the driver's footwell which is fed by the heater. Also closeable. All Passenger vents are fed by the heater blower.

Close the outside vents and the only air coming in should be via the heater matrix.

Last thing you should be in a TVR with the roof up is cold!

If you reach under the left hand side of the drivers footwell below the dash, the heater outlet has an adjustable vent which can be opened or closed.

Do the other vents give out warm air? was thinking 'air lock' in the matrix?

Found the vents in the footwell.

Had car 7 months and didn`t no they were there.
