Side repeater lenses

Hi Chaps,

Anyone know what car the above are originally from please ?

According to the Steve Heath Book, the early Chimaera has a round side repeater from a Ford and is held in place by a nut which is accessed via the footwell. The later Chimaera has an oval side repeater Ford Fiesta, that fits in to a hole that is sort of a figure 8 shape and is a push fit and can be levered out from the outside.

According to the 'Alternative ' parts list, the oval ones were from a Ford Fiesta Mk3 and the round ones from a Fiat Tipo/Cinquecento.

Yup - I parked my V reg Chim next to a V reg Fiesta and noticed they were identical.
Consider clear ones if you need to replace them - they look a lot better than orange against most paintwork IMHO. The clear ones come with orange bulbs and are only a few quid on Ebay

Or you can use an orange LED bulb or 'chrome' incandescent to avoid the fried egg look.

The later oval ones are definitely Ford. My clear ones are Mondeo items.
