Width of a TVR chimaera

Hi All

I have taken the plunge and purchased my first Trevor, it's a 52 plate 4.5ltr chim.
Does anyone know the width of the car including the mirrors? Just wanted to make sure it
Fits in the garage and can't find a definitive answer.

That's good to know, pick mine up Sat as well. Need to get the garage sorted, new big shed being delivered next Thursday to take all the crap from the garage.

Any idea width from wheel arch to wheel arch, ie number above minus mirrors.

Google for Chimera manual. You should find a PDF version you can download, contains most measurements.

It was registered in January 03 so it's a late one, the owner seems to think its one of the last 10 made but I'm not sure.
Looking forward to getting it

Its just that at the far end of the garage is a fridge Freezer, so need to get the nose of the car between that and the side of the garage.

Front track is not the width of the body work at the front wheels!

You will be closer to 1800 without the mirrors!

If the mirrors stick out about 4 inches beyond the body each side, 8 inches are 20 centimetres, 200 millimetres, so 1860 becomes 1660. All approx - will measure when I get back home

I just did a quick measure - approx 1 metre 70 with the mirrors folded flat.

But please don't keep folding the mirrors flat. The castings are alloy and fragile and before long you will snap them. Pain to repair (you can still get the castings, but getting them off the car, repaired and back on is a pain......trust me, I broke one of mine and repaired it)
