Mot fail on emissions,can you look at the results for me

Presented my 1997 450 chimaera for MOT today following a two year body off re build by me,and it's properly failed the emissions part of the test with the following results.

CO 0.4. Limit 0.2
HC 402ppm. Limit200ppm
Lambda .97. Pass
It also passed the natural idle test with CO at .3

It's running without pre cats but main cat is in place.
I bought it with a current MOT but this is the first time I've presented it myself as I took it off the road for re build.

My first thoughts are check plugs,make sure no misfire and check manifolds are leak free,they have new gaskets installed as well as new plugs/leads.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Sorted,MOT,d,taxed and on the road....GET IN!!

Both manifolds nipped up,one plug lead pushed firmly in place and coolant temp sensor changed.

Surprising it passed the lambda test with a loose plug lead........ well done anyway. (2 years, that would have finished me off).

It's tested my patience at times I'll be honest,hopefully have got something that's worth the wait now though,thanks all for replays.
