Battery drain, found problem but...

Like many others had a battery drain that no matter how much charging.

Had the multimeter out and started removing fuses to check amp readings. With them all in it was 0.2 amps !!!

Removed interior light fuse and reading dropped to 0.02.

Would the relay trigger without the fuse? as when i push door sill light switches i can hear a relay clicking. Just trying to isolate the source.

Of course i couldn't give 2 sts about an interior light v permanent battery drain but thought i should see it through.

The light delay relay is electronic and can fail live. Best thing to do is pull it out - it's the big yellow Ford one on the main board in the footwell on the top right.

Notice the tvr instrument relay on line is a bargain 70 quid!

I dont mind getting another one. I think this would fit, comments?

It's missing a pin by the looks of things. Ford breaker would be your best bet. I think they were fitted to Fiestas and Escorts among other things.

Cheers bassfiend did type in number but put in 66 instead of gg!
