So this could be why I get no cold air through the vents?

hehe

He thinks the Chimaera comes with ventilation.......whistle

The idea is you drive it with the roof off at all times. Those vents are just for show. In my car there aren't even any pipes connected to the back of them.

Very very few Chinaeras had the optional aircon. Most TVR owners realised it was unlikely to work for long, do didn't bother to order it.

the 3 way white circular connector is for air con compressor
the 2 way black connector is for the otter switch I believe -that's a worry as its not plugged in

I will double check when dressed, but on mine I think my otter switch connection is two separate wires, and on the radiator. OP, where is this pic taken please, and what year is your car?

Looks like the RH front corner of the engine, the label in the background with 100A is on the alternator. The Black plug could be for an over/under pressure switch for the Aircon.

the black 2 way connector is part of the rover loom that originally plugged into the temperature switch fitted into the thermostat housing (part of the rover air con control system to switch on condenser fans).
TVR did not use this rover air con switch in the thermostat housing and fairly sure they used the wiring/connector in the loom for the rad fan otter switch in the swirl pot(at least in the early models), there is a picture of this connector in the bible p133. Being TVR though they well may have altered this later on.

My chim has an unused circular connector in exactly the same place. It always has and I'm not aware of it being a problem.
