Mounting a phone in the Chimaera

I use an iPhone 6Plus for satnav and music but I'm finding it's really difficult to source a decent phone mount that'll fit the Chimaera. I've tried the "sucker" type that clings to the windscreen but it either gets in the way of the steering wheel, it's out of reach or it falls off in hot weather.

Has anyone got a suggestion?

... harmonica...? Not a bad idea - probably with one of those gadgets that Bob Dylan uses to hang it around my neck as the steering on the Chimaera is too jumpy to hold the harmonica in my hand and drive at the same time...

By far the best car phone holder I've found is the Nite Ize Steelie.

I use a RAM mount for mine. I got bored of mounts breaking or failing off as the car heats up so went for one of these. Expensive but worth it. Same mounts that pilots use to attach to the windows of light aircraft.
