rear lights

anyone know where I can view pictures of differnt lights fitted to the raer of a chim. I have the early ones. I think the following are the only ones avalable

the later style ones. (are these a straight swap with no wiring or hole drilling)

Also will swapping the lights cause problems when I come to sell

Provided they're fitted well, they shouldn't adversely affect the resale value of your jam jar...

The green Chim from the linked thread is mine. They are as the 'Lexus' lights but with a bit o' black paint to de-bling. I believe Lexus style can be purchased for around the £100 mark.

Later style lights are part of car - not a part swap: major surgery required!

Zertec afterburners last time I checked - website came back to PH, so don't know what happened there.

Quad conversions are £340 (inc VAT, but not painting body colour).

I have a hankering for the Quad conversions, so if you like mine, make me an offer and I'll trade up!

My profile shows my Chim with the newer quad lights fitted and colour coded in. Couldnt tell you how much they cost as it was done by the previous owner, but IMHO they make a huge improvement over the standard one piece units.

Hi cmr2payne,

I actaully bought a set of the Lexus style lights last Summer with the full intention of fitting them to my Chim. As it turns out I am considerably lazier that I had thought and I never got around to fitting them.....

Anyway, when I got round to clearing out a cupboard the other day there they were. The more I thought about it the more I realised how unlikely I was to get round to trying to instal these lights while my car was parked on a road in South London. You see the dilema?
