Loose wing mirror

Hi,

since some weeks ago, my Chim also has the common problem of a loose wing mirror on the driver's side. I am not sure if the tripod is broken or if it's just the grub screw that became loose, but I would like to get the required spares before disassembling the door and mirror.

At the end of the video you can see something moving inside of the black collar.

Is it possible to see from this video, what needs to be fixed?
_ Loose grub screw?
_ Screw that connects tripod to internal mirror frame?
_ Broken tripod or internal frame?

It is possible that the grub screw has come loose, but more likely that the tripod base has fractured. Will it only make that quarter turn or can you make a complete turn?

I notice the black plastic collar at the base has a split in it, like mine has, so it has been disassembled before. You can push a screwdriver blade through there and the tripod base and unwind the whole assembly off the door.

N.B. Remove the door speaker to gain access to the wiring first, or you'll end up completely twisting it.
