NON PAS STEERING RACK GREASE NIPPLE

Hi guys the grease nipple on the steering rack does it need topping up and which grease? Or is it for the PAS system if it was an option?

The manual rack actually has three grease nipples, one each side and one under the pinion. I use regular Castrol LM chassis grease.
