Hi guys can anybody help me with the rear light conversion.
I want to do this on my chim but i dont know what is required. is it just a replacement of the Fiesta MK3 lights or is there bodywork involved and painting (apart from the light itself)?
Do you know where can i get a second hand kit? are there any specialized yards that sell TVR second hand parts in the UK?

... what do you mean??? is it such a difficult job to do???It's bodywork. The four LandRover candle holders fit into a specially formed section of the rear bodywork. It's integral, not an insert like some of the Cerbera headlights.
Fair amount of work, to end up with rear lights that are dimmer than your present ones and over time drop out of their holders. Yes, I love mine, as I love the entirely concealed door buttons and boot hinges on my 99 car, but I would question whether it is worth the hassle to change them over.

Personally I found this a straight forward change. There is a fair bit of fibreglass to cut away, using the new inserts as a template. They are available from fibreon, under £100 if I recall correctly. Not aware of the lights being any less effective than before.
No paint other than the new moulds required, assuming of course you don't slip with the dremel.

I don't think you will get the pods second hand easily. My understanding is the factory facelift cars had the pods fully integrated in the rear section rather than adding them to the earlier mould. Of course there may be some crossover cars.
The lights are land rover lightweight / military spec and are plentiful and not that expensive. I think I have a full set, feel free to PM.
