Replacing brake light bulb

Hi all, Just noticed my brake light isn't working. have removed the carpet cover to reveal where light mounting which is covered by a rubber seal. I don't want to just yank it nad hope, is there an approved technique?!

If you look at your rear light cluster, you'll see that it's the copper coloured surround is what turns.!!

Grip well, as there may be some carpet adhesive stuck to it, and turn anti-clockwise.

DON'T pull off the rubber surround.!!

It doesn't look like it should work this way, but that's TVR for you.!!
