Annoying rattle

HI Guys
As opposed to many on here, I've quietened the Chimaera down a bit,from the decat, sleeved exhaust noise I bought it with, as on a long journey it became tiresome.
It's still too noisy for conversation at motorway speeds but better.
But now its quieter I can hear other noises.....
There's a rattle/clunk when going over the usual crappy country roads around North Yorkshire, when I brake too.
The car has just had a comprehensive check over and there's no obvious play anywhere, so I'm going around seeing what is loose.
And one thing is the pushrod from the clutch pedal to the master cylinder. There's about 3 - 6mm play before there's any action at the master cylinder. My thought as that there should be a spring to tension the pedal but I cannot see any fixings/holes.
Do Gaz Golds rattle?
Any other ideas?

Rattle also when you brake - calliper bolts loose, pads moving? I do remember seeing pads fitted with a dab of silicone to stop the clunk on braking
GGPs - not ever experienced that myself when I had GGPs, though I did have it when fitting a different set of dampers when there had been some confusion on which pair went on which axle. We ended up with the longer ones on the front, with the spring hanging loose. Not great on the next track day
, problem quickly diagnosed and swapped round.
Have you checked the exhaust isn't knocking on something?
Anti roll bar bushes/drop links was my first thought, but that may be because I have had to have mine replaced last week after only 20,000 miles.
Final daft thought - loose wheel nuts make an interesting noise when you have already lost two and the other two are half undone.....can happen if you don't torque them up properly. I lost a wheel off a trailer a couple of months ago after putting the bolts on with an impact driver and forgetting to torque them the last little bit with the wheel brace. It took 120 miles for the wheel to come off at 50 mph.....
When I had two different noises recently, one when I dropped the clutch in in low gears, the other on cornering, I took it to Mat Smith, my TVR guy, as I felt it could be a safety issue.
The diagnoses (which he demonstrated to me with the car up on the ramp), were worn rose joints on the front drop links for the cornering noise, and excessive play in the drive shafts and diff, both thanks to my general abuse of the car (30 track days, plus some sprint days in three years).
The problem with trying to diagnose it myself is that I don't have the experience to know what is normal and what is excessive. For me, knocking noises are the car's way of warning me something needs an expert.
Though I am proud to say I did manage to diagnose a calliper bolt issue a couple of years ago - loud clonk on braking at low speed, about 4 weeks after I had changed the front pads myself. The allen key headed calliper bolts I had thought I had tightened enough had come loose. Took the front wheel off and even I could see that one bolt had disappeared completely, and the other one was half out.
No, I shouldn't be let loose with a spanner.

Anti roll bar links are my favourite but it's just come back from thorough check over by a respected TVR Specialist.

Whilst the clutch pushrod is loose and rattles, I cannot actually hear it when driving so not that.
