Could any one tell me what where this goes ?

Hi All,

I've found this kicking about in the boot of the Chimp and I think it is a connector from some wiring that goes underneath the central transmission cover. I'm wondering if this is the wiring that feeds / receives from the speedo as my speedo does not work ?

What year is your car?

Apologies. The car is 1993 4.3 (supposedly Big valve )

It does look very similar to mine.



However, as this is a common connector, it doesn't automatically mean it is for the speed sensor.

If your speedo does not work then there is a very good chance that it is this.

On my Chimaera there was no way that the connector would fit through the hole and therefore it must have been put on the cable from the sensor after poking it through the hole.

When I stripped mine down, I removed the pins from the connector housing and then pushed them through the hole in the tunnel.
