Had an appointment run late today and I started to day dream. Bear with me on this......
I have an 03 CL55 AMG (the 493bhp and 516lb/ft supercharged version)
The paintwork is a joke and flaking all over the shop (quoted 12k - HA!)
The suspension is a pain in the backside spent over 5k on it so far.
It seems I can't drive past a mercedes dealer without spending at least a grand!
But when you plant your right foot all is forgotten and that engine launches a couple of tones at the horizon.
It's a world apart from my aging and beloved chim, a car with no rust, a refurbished chassis but a high mileage lump and crap paintwork.
Just thinking out loud.....and I know the cost would be stratospheric....but.....and we're talking hypothetically here is it even possible to shoehorn the CL 55 Supercharged lump into a chim?
