Reset wiper blades

I've noticed my wiper blades are settling too low so that on the down stroke they impact into both the near side wing and the pivot of the wiper on the passenger side.
Is there a way of reseting the rest position so this doesn't happen?

Sounds most likely to be a problem with the wiper park switch. I understand that this can often be cured by cleaning the connections and giving them a good squirt of WD40 - more details and piccies in the Bible...

IF THE WD40 DOSENT WORK UN DO THE 13 MM NUT UNDER THE COVER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WIPER ARM. PULL WIPER ARM OFF THE SPLINNED SHAFT AND RESET 2 THE DESIRED POSITION TIGHTEN THE NUT BACK UP

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check the bible again. I think I will need to remove the blades and adjust the position as above.
