Rear light pod lamps...

Are these just standard Land Rover lamps, the same as the ones found on that military spares website?
I'm about to order a pair of the pods but just trying to get everything I need before committing.
Has anyone done the swap? Will the rewrite just be a case of working out each feed and soldering accordingly?

I did the conversion recently. The lamps are the land rover ones as you suggest. It is very easy to trace the power supply to the individual bulbs on the fiesta holder before chopping off the connector.

Cool, did you get new lamps or the ex military second hand ones?
I've got my original indicators from the front in the garage so that'll save a bit.
What reflectors did you use?

I used a combination of new and good used lamps, they appear fairly regularly on ebay etc. I did experiment with clear rear indicators but ultimately used the yellow fronts at the rear. The original reflectors are available however there are loads that are suitable for pennies, any good quality 60mm diameter will do.

I used black enamel to repaint the border around the outside of the rear plastic cover. I also found that taking lots of time with fine line masking tape to keep the sikaflex uniform and as narrow as possible around the cover makes for a great finish. Loads of disposable gloves required!
