Door window lower seals, what adhesive ?

I have just bought new seals to fit to my doors and i want to know what adhesive i should use to attach them to the inner edge of the door ? also do i need to take the window out to fit them ?

I used impact adhesive and seals have stayed in place for several years now.

Yes, you do have to remove the door glasses

It would have been EvoStik or Thixofix, though back then they were spirit based. Not sure if that's the case now. I did get in touch with the makers of Sikaflex who supply to the motor manufacturers and they said rubber was one of the more difficult things to stick, although easy to seal. However my contact adhesive has worked fine.
