Bargain Mobil 1 15W50.!

In my hunt for fully synthetic 15W50 oil to replace the fluid leaking from my new oil pressure sensor, I eventually came across Mobil 1 Motorsport Fully Synthetic 15W50 oil from Halfords at £28.79 for 4 Litres. After previously paying £10.50 per litre what a bargain..! Not sure if this is a regional offer.?

I have read the best way to seal the Oil Pressure Sensor threads is with PTFE tape. Any other solutions.?

Yeah i bought some at Halfords too, just to stock up a bit. Seems a good promotion.

Check the oil pressure sender very carefully. I fitted a new one and it leaked passed the electrical spade connector! The comment I got from the TVR dealer was that there must have been a bad manufacturing batch as a number had been returned leaking oil.

I demanded another new sender from the dealer and this fixed the problem. I still have the leaking one in the garage - I was not going to waste more of my time and money sending it back!
